One thing i was wandering was fuel efficency of these cars mines getting around 20 right now and i know m3 are lower (around 14 i believe) i want a car that makes decent fuel efficacy (around 20) thats still a ton of fun

The turbos still get very decent mileage as I understand, very much depending on how you drive.
Many guys getting over 400hp on turbo 325 e36's but you'd still be in an older car, more rattles and squeaks, less safety features, etc..... Just have to ask yourself how fast do you really need to go? Always a trade off!

He means we're all desperate for more power but dont really have any idea what we're doing and there are rather limited mods for our car. Much like v6 mustangs being little brothers to the v8 ones
