vibration from rear of E92 sport
I have a vibration felt through the seat between 78 to 82 mph, not severe but still annoying, it's not there below and above this speed range, I have checked the balance on both rear wheels and both are ok. Anyone have any ideas what might be the cause of vibration at this speed range?

I had an issue on my previous car between 64 and 67 that I lived with. Wheels all balanced all components fine. When I came to change all 4 tyres it mysteriously went away so can only assume it was the way the tyres were mounted.

Probably need to check they are not buckled then. I have 19 inch wheels fitted, should I be looking for any specific areas on the wheel that might be cracked, I can't see anything obvious

I have this too. trying cleaning up the hubs/wheels/mating faces and then torque the wheels down evenly. I also dropped the rear pressures slightly. Not had chance to test properly yet but so far so good.

I have the same problem and have been fighting it for months. Tires balanced 2x, swapped them side to side, just got an alignment. It's better but still there. New thrust arms ordered and being put in next week will let you know if that solves it.

I had this it turned out to be a buckled wheel. Balancing the wheel and tyre only compensates for the difference in weight between the tyre and wheel. This can be set to zero but if the wheel is buckled you will still get vibration.

Interesting, I've got the same thing - slight vibration felt through the chassis not the steering. I've changed my wheels and tyres for different reasons and still got the same thing so mine is definitely not wheels or tyres related.

I hope this helps, According to the head technician at Munich legends they do get customers with our E9X range of cars with vibration issues. He stated that owners who have had wheels out of balance, buckled wheels or warped brake discs that don't get them fixed early enough suffer from vibration. This is because it damages the hubs, so when the origional issue is sorted it can feel like the vibration is still there.
