Door lock pin doesn't go down

Hey guys,

Just recently, my driver side door lock pin stopped going down. The door locks and unlocks as it should, but the pin stays in the unlocked position. I can manually push it down with no problem and lock the door. When I unlock via door handle of key fob, it pops up on it's own with no problem.

Not a huge problem, but still annoying. Any ideas on what the issue might be or a possible fix?

Take off the door card and see if it's loose or if something is obstructing it.

It's possible. It seems like the actuator can fail partially and not all the way. When my driver's door lock actuator failed, it wouldn't unlock electronically. Had to unlock with the key from outside or by pulling the door handle on the inside. Locking worked fine both manually and electronically.

Hi. Do you recall what the solution was here?

Replace the door lock actuator asap. You don't want it to be in the locked position when it fails. It's a real PITA
