Tint tickets

My boy just got pulled over in bk in his c63...the cop gave him 4 tickets for tints.. One for each window.. Shouldn't it just be one ticket? We are allowed to have the back and rear windows tinted and the front has to be 75% visible..I told him to pledge not guilty and just go to court.. There's noway they give tickets for each window.. Am I correct?

welcome to new york, yes they can and will ticket you individually for each illegal window tint, especially if he was pulled over for something else too, no tolerance for anything up where u guys live.

I understand that, then he shouldve gotten 2 tickets... Not 4!!! Lol doesn't help that he has 2% tints for the fronts.. That's just begging for 5.0 to pull u over..

you are wrong. they can give you a ticket for each window individually.

your buddy made a decision to break the law, as have i with my tint, idk why you are shocked they gave him 4 tickets.

It should only be 2 tickets (3 if he has any tint on the front windshield)
but the back 2 and rear window you can tint as dark as you want legally.

Like you said plead not guilty go to court they'll knock off the two rear window tickets but hes still gonna have to pay for the fronts.

Only Suv's and minivans are allowed to have rear windows tinted, cars get one ticket each for every window that's the law but if the cop was nicer he could've let him go with just one or 2 tickets. Got 4 tickets in Bklyn 2 yrs ago as well for tints.

Oh ok, I didn't know that only suv's and minivans were the only vehicles that can have the back and rears tinted... That explains the four tickets..

bullshit, i ran my ram with 5% and 30% windshield with jersey plates, never got pulled. ever. because it had jersey plates and never left the island lol.

In central NJ, I got a ONE tint ticket for all 4 windows. I had 20%.
The worst part is he gave me this ticket at night.

Anyway, I paid it and decided not to take-off those tints till next ticket.

u could have 5% on the rear sides and not get a ticket. thats some bullshit if he gave you one for 4.

Fuel is cheaper in NJ

And you pay more in property taxes in NNJ because Bergen County has some of the best public school systems in the country.
Although youre in weehawken, im surprised you have such a high tax rate. weehawken public schools are not good.
