Cool runs man. Car is running strong.

btw, what happened @1:38? Does the car actually downshift if it's too fast for that gear?

Car seems quick, what do you hope to run the next time you go to PBIR?

The glitch at 1:38 is concerning. Can't really tell, but did the engine over rev on downshift?

No it didnt down shift, I let my foot of the gas peddle instantly. It only happens when in sport mode when pulling off the gas peddle suddenly.

Something to do with throttle closure and back pressure that causes that surge.

That appears to be the DTC slipping, then regaining itself

DTC, or do your mean DCT ? It has nothing to do with the transmission. DCT slippage doesnt occure from the reverse application of power

I got an update for my tune to fix this. Its an over rev caused by the DCT when it disengages the engine after releasing the gas instantly cause the tach to over read the RPM. This would explain why other BMW owners never experienced this issue as I am currently the only one with RENNtech on a DCT N54, and also why it only occures when I have the Sport button enabled

What you're saying is there is no actual over rev, but rather wrong reporting of that variable? if So then keep it it looks cool

Although it should be easy to know whether it is an over rev or not just by engine noise. It's not that clear in the video but you can tell for sure

Always enjoy your input/testing with the n54/dct!
Since you're the only one with a RENNtech tune on this platform, is it available to all now or under testing?

Its available to all now....taking car in sometime next week for the update. I have been running like this for 8 months, no issues, so it could wait one more week after track today.
