They are supposed to attach to your calipers with gobs of silicone caulk - how well that holds when the calipers get hot is beyond me + you would need to remove/re-attach every time you do a pad change...

It's been done! Don't clown on the Brembo covers! Someone mentioned a Civic?
MCM = Amazingly Talented People! It's amazing to watch all their builds. Starts at 28:11, or watch the entire 3 episodes when anyone gets a chance.

That has got to be the funniest video I've seen in a while- especially the part about installing them on the rear drum brakes! That kept our entire engineering dept entertained for 49min, not gettin a whole lot of work done here today... Ya know you dont have a whole lot to do when you actually watch that start to finish

^It's great, isn't it? I've managed to watch the civic series. I'm amazed at their quality of fab-work (although humorous).

Lol "go buy a $2k welder to weld a $5 fake brembo cover, it's cheaper to buy real brembos." Haha

Does anybody make a similar caliper cover that says something like "BMW" instead of "Brembo"? I like the idea of having a caliper cover, and I'm thinking it's probably acceptable if it says "BMW" on it.

For the price, worth a try... I bought my set for cosmetic reasons so I guess this would be the same idea. Go for it. Most people won't know or care and it would be better than those people painting their stock calipers. Ok, ok, flame suit on.
