SMS function on professional HU!

There is a thread on the one series with a pic of SMS as an option. Anyone see it?

Not sure the SMS feature can work with an iPhone because it needs the Bluetooth MAP, which iPhones don't have. But it might work with my Nokia. Once I get my OBDII cable, I will try it out along with a bunch of other codings.

Next (silly) queston-- any way to get that to work with CIC?

Due to a fluke of programming, my E38 was able to read SMS's onscreen.

I had some time to kill so I was fooling around with car last night - more presicely the RAD2 module and made active the SMS option. so now I have the sms option on my radio. However, I tested with my Iphone 4s and I don't see anything on the radio screen upon receipt of a text

. Has anyone tested it and actually get it to work, if so which cell are you using?? the below pic does give the SMS option

Good work. Doubt you will get it to work with iphone as the sms bt protocol is absent. Try a different brand of phone.

I'm not a coder...so no.. (and I have an iPhone so it wouldn't work)

I have tested it today with a Nokia 3120 classic but it didn't work. Is here someone with a Nokia Business Phone like E72 or E52 for testing? Later I can test it with a Nokia E71.
