Hey guys i could use some help, if someone could loan me their dpfix that they've used and dont immediately need id appreciate it. I could give you $20 for your troubles. I bought one but the female ends that i replaced onto the sub connector are way too tiny. They are not allowing the subconnector to go back on. I can see where the pins were stressed so im not even gonna try it. I tried to open it up but no go. Or dont have the right tool. Lmk please.

Ok here's the final word on emissions. I'm running fbo with Cobb in a stage 2 map with cat codes turned off. On my scanner all obd2 self checks were ready except for cats. I passed obd2 emissions without a problem, without a dp fix. So save your self the trouble and money you don't need the dp fix and will pass with one monitor not ready even if it's your cat monitor.

Well shit, yeah i read that one couldnt be ready.... holy fuck that's a game changer. will let you know. taking mine out for the other readiness to go ok and then heading to the emissions place then. The only weird part is how the auto clear didnt reset the monitors. Figured the readiness drive would trigger the CEL and then reset all the monitors.. trying it though and we'll see how it goes.

This is a definite game changer if all we have to do is disable cat codes and live with one "not ready" monitor if that still constitutes a pass.

How did you disable the cat codes? I'm assuming it would be comparable to do in TunerPro. If not I guess I need to do some researching...

I just had PTF do it when tuning my car but its the same as turning it off in tuner pro and the same as running any cobb stage 2 map. It just turns the light off on the dash and will block the code insuring you'll never reach cat readiness. Just make sure all your other monitors are ready.

Can someone please recommend a good place to look at automotive (racing) helmets in person for the PHX area?

Thanks!

Ha. Yeah I procrastinated. Registration expires in like 5 days good to know though because I was starting to wonder wth was wrong with it. Big shout out to bimmer crew in general and Aztww specifically for coming through in the clutch, helping out and letting me use his DP fix since mine had issues.

Any shop recommendations near arcadia/biltmore? Preferably open on a Saturday. Need to replace all my fluids and some other minor repairs.

Tinting shop?

Anyone know a good tinting shop around in Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert area?
Any tips and cautions on tinting our cars?

Last thing I need is tint bubbling up.
I'm also concerned about rear windshield job where the heating element is. I think if it's done wrong and peeling it off, it will break the wire and no more defroster working in the back. Right?

No clue about rear windshield.

Talk to the owner of http://americaneagleprotint.com/. Kinda like by Priest and Elliott. He's had this place for at least 7 or 8 years. Did two cars for me before. Pass/Drivers windows. Honest, fair price, warranty against defects.

Pretty sure they also will do non legal but on the DL no receipt, no warranty at your own risk.
