Headlights are too low

No matter what I did I couldn't get hem up

I even changed the leveling sensor . I fiddled with the bracket . Adaptive headlights,high beams,self leveling all works just fine . I've tested the level with putting my weight on trunk . Is it because of aftermarket lowering springs? I raised them all the way up manually still too low.Tomorrow I'll check it's positioning under cars weight. It's driving me crazy

You can adjust the headlight level manually. Have you tried that?

Use a philips head screwdriver but make sure you don't aim them too high up or you'll blind other drivers.

Are you sure you have the leveling sensor installed correctly? It is possible to get it reversed which can cause the lights to point low.

Yeah. I replaced it myself. It's almost parallel to the engine and perpendicular to ground =(

I had a headlight replaced under warranty because the physical aiming mechanism broke, something about a ball socket popping out. The projector was literally pointing at the ground.

If this is happening, I don't think the lights would move at all during the self test at start up. In any case, it's also worth taking a look at this post:

Perhaps your issue is related? Do they still dip up and down when you start the car up?

My broken one still self leveled surprisingly. Just at a much lower angle.

mine are doing the same thing, JUST after we installed KW v1 coilovers... The car is really dropped though, so it definitely is caused by the car being too low. But how to fix it? Mechanic says the auto-level sensor on the control arms cannot adjust to such a low height... any ideas if that's true? I can't imagine EVERYONE who lowers their bmw's has their headlights pointing to the ground and just accept it as is??

I even changed the sensor nothing happened so I think we should get used to it

Actually I put the car back on the lift and saw that the tech forgot to hook up the front axle sensor lol once back on, the headlights were better, still pointing a little too low, so from on top of the headlights you can turn the adjuster until you're satisfied with the height (see pic attached) . I counted the turns from passenger and driver so that they remained equal.

I adjusted them all the way up, when I have time I'll look at the headlight brackets and rear sensor too..
