Thanks for the links. I downloaded a lot of the E90 PDFs. Some are scattered within other directories too, so get click-happy to find them.

A lot of good info I hadn't seen yet, so very appreciated.

I just removed the space before cpe and replaced the 'dot' with a dot and it still works fine without any user/pass info.

Something on that list tried to give my PC a malware virus (trojan)! I just got a phone call from my company's IT department!

Okay the list is a massive amount of information BUT to the average DIYer it is pretty useless unless you have a BMW shop fully equipped with certified staff and shop tools and equipment!

In a way it is too much info at once and chunks of what you actually need from it can be googled and found on a as needed basis!

A lot of folders have scr files which my antivirus is flagging and removing instantly. All the other files seem fine.

Lol, Someone left this in a text file

you have a file called "photo.scr" on your drives. It is a virus.
For your own good, delete it please and then run malwarebytes and eset antivirus
You also have one called "info.zip"
That is a virus.
I found your ftp while searching google and downloaded some of your ASE auto books.
Thats when I noticed the virus.
You can even call me at 812-610-4535. My name is Rich.
If you look at the file dates on your sytem, you will see that photo.scr is recreating itself.
If you need a registered version of malwarebytes, I can upload it to you.
