i have an 07 and looking to install some downpipes.

i've never done emissions test before, and recently read a few articles that commented on an e-test every 2 years.

i was also told that i can do the e-test now, then install the downpipes, and when my bday aug 6th 2012 comes around, my e-test results are still valid.

any advice on this matter?

Where have you been??? They have changed the regulations, no more 5 years, now is 7 years. So you have another 2 years to play before you need to do e-test.
