Suggestions on light mods
Well sold my M3 last weekend and I am working on a deal with my buddy who is leaving the country for the state dept. on his 2009 335. Needless to say when all is said and done I am not going to have a car payment and 15K cash in my bank for selling the M3 and buying his car. I am looking to take about 3K of that 15K to do some light mods and wanted some suggestions. The car has the m package so in terms of looks I am happy with it. I am looking at possible software upgrades and which exhaust/intake to go with.
Thanks! |

JB4 or Procede
Intake is eh...but I suppose the cheapest is the BMS DCI Exhaust depends on what you want....it is by far the most expensive per hp mod out there and strictly for tones. I went with AA Signature and love it. Others have gone the AE route for a more "exotic" sounding. HPF is just silly loud. Vanguard is in between AE and HPF in terms of loudness. |

Honestly go Cobb! Dinan isn't worth the power gains with the money you spend. You will spend a fraction of the price on jb, vishnu, or cobb versus dinan and the bmw performance tune. Cobb is the easiest to install uninstall from the car as it flashes using the obd2 port on the car. Exhaust I would say PE or Vanguard.

+1 to Dinan isn't worth it. Cobb would be a more sneaky way to tune.
BMW PE sounds good but I like my car with a little more rawr. |

+1 on Cobb. I don't even run stage 2 and it's already a noticeable difference over stock. Although, since you are coming from an M3 you may need more power
