Glad you all had a good time and are back safe and sound.

Tony did his car cleaning bit at the Northern meet as well.....missed your vocation there Tony.

Who used the most fuel then?

I was definatly quicker than last year (9m01s BtG), but still not sure by how much... I'm guessing maybe 8m45s - 8m50s. Unfortunatly the 3 laps I managed to video are all early doors, or interupted with traffic.

Few more piccies of mine.

Not actually overly impressed with the quality of photos for €75 TBH - I know it isn't an exact science, but I did 13 laps over the weekend and after seeing the photo's of Biscuit's 130i last year from Frozenspeed, maybe my expectations were too high.

Still, nothing can detract from the fact that I had a spectacularly good weekend!!

Was a fantastic weekend - glad everyone got back home safely, with no accidents (punctures apart) to speak of Did almost thirty laps on Saturday and Sunday (none on Monday) and co-piloted a few as well. I only drove one lap on my own - the rest were carrying various passengers Am proud to have taken Will around the 'Ring for his first two laps - I don't know whether he was shocked or scared, but he said very very little throughout

Great to meet Marcel and Carsten, who both made long journeys just to see how my car went on its new Bilstein suspension. Hope the journey was worth it !!!
The journey was definitely worth it - not only did I get to experience two rounds on the Ring (a memorably fast one with yourself and another driving myself), but I also had the privilege of meeting all you great guys which I thoroughly enjoyed. A great afternoon and an excellent dinner - I only wish I had had a bit more time to get to know all of you a little better! Well, there will be a next time, I hope.

And, last but not least, the Bilstein suspension is really amazing. Not less comfortable than the stock one (at least from what I could tell while riding shotgun to Tony), and great handling and rebound qualities. I already put that one on my wishlist! And from what Carsten told me, he was just as impressed and is considering swapping it for his Alpina suspension.

Greetings to all of you from Luxembourg!

Just been sent this link from a really cool guy i met at the Ring last week called Dino. He runs the Nurburgring Experience and followed me and filmed my E92 M3 for a lap of the Ring. It wasnt my fastest lap - im guessing this lap was around 9 min 5 sec bridge to gantry - we were held up in some slow traffic and one guy just wouldnt move over - but hey, thats the Ring - at least it was an accident free lap for a change!! Ive still only ever completed around 15 laps of the Ring to date so still learning the circuit - which i believe is paramount to this place - regardless of how fast your car is, knowledge is key. My lines are not always that great as you will see, especially the second half of the circuit where i just can never remember the corners!! See what you think? Car looks nice and low and wide though!!!

Roll on August - will have my Eisenmann Race on by then so will sound the part even if i wont look the part on the circuit!!!

Takes me back. Enjoyed that video almost...almost...as much as doing the lap myself. Possibly a way for someone to learn the turns to a certain degree.
