07 E90, Dinan intake, stage 1 tune, all other stock...143,000 miles.
So far ive replaced: under warranty (before it expired): vanos, lower A-arms, oil filter housing gasket, bank 1 injectors, left wheel bearing. After warranty: valve cover gasket, water pump, one coil, replaced some vac lines, battery. Never did walnut blasting since I owned it with 44k miles. I'm not sure it is worth the cost as it seems to run reasonably well for the miles and I may get a newer one next year... |

08' e92 335i daily driven never garaged 100k miles. Have put about 50k miles in the past 3 years. Tuned since 50k. Original turbos & hpfp (knock on wood)
Have replaced: Water pump/ thermostat 2x oil filter housing gasket Oil cooler gasket Valve cover gasket Rear main seal gasket Serpentine belt, pulley 3x all spark plugs 3x OEM Left control arm (mysteriously snapped the second time.. Switched to m3 arms) 2x left wheel bearing 1x right wheel bearing L+r half shafts Vanos All o rings (power steering cap, brake fluid, motor oil) Most bushings (subframe, differential, all control arms) 2x power steering fluid Battery 2x blown fuses 2x brake fluid Oil change every 5k miles with Mobil 0-40 My AC is now on and off too, so AC compressor is probably going out soon... It's a lot of maintenance and headaches, but totally worth it! |

Actually, my odometer just rolled past 30K last week. It's my DD, but remember, the 3 series N54 continued into 2013 with the IS.

08 335i bought with 40 miles on the odometer. Now at 150k plus. Had the HPFP replaced under warranty. I've ran Dinan Stage I maybe around 40-50k and Stage II around 70k. Differential went out around 80-90k. Water pump around the same time. 100K upgraded suspension, changed spark plugs, fluids, walnut shell blasting. I was told by a BMW mechanic my car is leaking oil pretty bad, but my dad looked at it and couldn't find anything. He just tightened up some oil lines. Occasionally I will have a rough start (happened a lot this past winter). For some reason my car goes into check engine or loss of power mode when i accelerate and brake really hard shortly after. But the car will drive normally after I shut it off. I never drive very hard and maybe took my car to 100 maybe twice. Plus Ive been T-boned once and sideswiped a couple of times by idiots

132k miles on my E92 335i.
Tuned and improved since 100k. Water pump, injectors and HPFP around 90k warranty. Turbo at 132k (now) upgraded to Stage 2 (they were still pushing 18psi, but vacuum was escaping from one actuator). Also doing clutch as stock might not be enough for planned torque. Daily drive and such fun to drive |

135k miles Stage 1 tune at 110k Stage 2 at 130k Coils, plugs, injectors at 110k new MOSFET at 110k Water pump at 117k Walnut blast at 125k LPFP sensor at 125k HPFP hasn't gone out yet, but showing shadow codes :/ Needs OFHG, maybe new VCG, new LCAs and a nice wax.
