BMW of Seattle or Bellevue BMW

Looking for some opinions on which dealership is the better one for service and warranty issues. Is one more mod friendly than the other? As far as sales go it's BMW of Seattle hands down! I went to Bellevue BMW before I bought my car to look what they had and the sales guys (who were all bored and not with customers) didn't even bother to talk to me (I'm 30 but look like 25) cause they figured I couldn't buy. BMW of Seattle tossed me the keys to a new M3 and said "enjoy"....don"t have any service experience with either one though so any input is appreciated!

Thanks!

If you search we have a local thread most of us go to Seattle, but at the end of the day it's based on personal experiences, you're schedule and the dealers as well

BMW Seattle seems to be friendly as most ppl would recommended. I got friends that work at both the dealership, which both are really friendly and dont care much on the mods of what you have done on the car.

1. BMW Bellevue: Look for Michael Edward
2. BMW Seattle: Look for Ben Norman

Let them know you are referral by Johnny Lin, they will take care of you for sure.

got an appointment with Michael Edward on Monday!

Should I tell him about the Alpina B3 flash I have in order to keep them from updating my car? Or should I just keep that to myself?

good to know! I feel like being upfront about it is usually the best option

A bit off-topic here, but I have a 2008 335xi which has a Dinan stage 1 tune on it (from new) - will the Aplina B3 TCU flash work on my car (with the Dinan tune), and if so, any point in getting it done?

it'll work as far as I know. It only flashes your TCU so it shouldn't affect the Dinan tune. My car is stock (still) other than the flash and it's a huge improvement. Modified I couldn't imagine it without the flash. Gets you about as close to a DCT you can get without retrofitting one.

I have the cable if you need to borrow one.

Great - thanks for the advice. Have a cable (the same one from my R53 Mini days I think) but not confident enough to do it myself!! Will probably go to that BIM Tuning guy down in Kent

I did have good experience with the sales in BMW Seattle. I was looking for a manual 335i sedan, I wanted to take a look with the real car, sit in there and get a feel out of it. I drove there with my old ass 1989 Nissan 240sx that roughly worth $1000 at that time. They treated me like a nornal customer, I was really happy about that, although this is what they should do but still that was my feeling. They did the same thing to me by giving me the car key and let me went for a test drive. Unfortunately, it was a coupe so I told the salesman to give me a call when they find a manual 335i sedan, he didn't pressure me to look at other cars, he just took my number and gave me his business card. I walked off, how easy was that?
