Is sport steering wheel direct fit for nonsport?

I have the nonsport steering wheel and would like to swap it for the OEM sport model. I've searched this forum, but can't find answer to whether the swap involves anything else but the wheel. Would I have to get the airbags, etc too? Any help is much appreciated.

Also, I have an automatic without paddles if that makes a difference. Can I get one with paddles and plug and play?

Thanks, Chris

You'd have to get everything - including a wiring harness for the paddles.

DOnt forget you will need an Airbag too. I wanna get an M3 steering wheels but the damn airbag stopping me. Expensive to get an airbag and the steering wheel.

I was wondering too. I guess it can be done. What are all the total parts? Steering Wheel, SW Trim, and wats the rest. Im looking to purchase a steering wheel without the shift pads too.
