Bahahahah So after watching the cobra vs 335i video the next video that popped up was a cobra vs monitor lizard --> at the end the narrator says that the cobra lost the battle even before it even began...

You would need the Bt tool to log that. For those interested I can get into detail. Let me know. |

Have you dynoed your car?
With Tune and DCI I am betting ...330 maybe 340 rwhp? A Cobra...with exhaust...Cold Air intake...and tune will be in the 450+ rwhp range. This is assuming the car does not have a ported blower or anything else hidden. (ASK ME HOW I KNOW!?) I believe a N54 that dynoes around 400 rwhp will hang or beat a pullied Cobra. 335i...135i...much more effiecient with its power. I would suggest...getting at least a good catback system..even better would be catless Downpipes...FMIC...Race Gas on a higher map. Icing on the cake would be meth injection. Get some more work done and give him a new run. On a side note. You boys in CT need to reprosent. This guys says in the you tube comments he can beat anything you guys bring at him. |

So, that is at least a 100rwhp difference. I have found if you can get within 50-60 rwhp difference you are good against the Terminators. Meaning, if he is putting down 470 rwhp 480 trq. If you can get your car around 410+rwhp and 420+rwtq. You should be fine. Another key to beating these cars. (assuming he has stock blower) Make sure he does a lot of driving before hand. Meaning, drive around a lot before you find somewhere to run. Or, do a couple pulls where he beats on his car and you let off. Claim you didn't get a good start. Keep him driving around. That Eaton SC (better known as the Heaton) will get heat soaked fast. They are notorious for loosing power with heat soak. Then give him the run with the new mods. |

2nd at 40 is what a good driver of a 03 04 Cobra will do. The SC has instant boost. So, torque and hp are there when you hit the gas. . I now have a modded 335i. 2nd at 40 is best here too. 03 04 Cobras are good on the low end with instant boost. Higher speeds and after several pulls it will loose on the top end of the curve. Do a run from 70-130 mph (you in 3rd to start) once you get your mods done. That should give your car one of its favorite spots to run |
