Ipod connector?

I was just poking around www.realoem.com and noticed this. New Ipod integration?

Yes, I saw that as well .... however unlike the previous model's iPod adapter which used the car's stereo to display track names etc, this one comes with an 'add-on' display that seems to get mounted to the dash board above the ventilation fans. Not as 'slick' of a solution in my opinion as last model's solution. Looks like you can move through tracks and control volume via steering wheel controls though as with previous version.

Not sure why it's not as 'integrated' as before but maybe there is a technology explanation for this.
