Love it. I want to send mine to ACM and can't decide. I love the stock headlight look with te v2's.

I think the blackout is just too much and really comes across as aftermarket, and I'm not a fan of how they look when off. ACM can do a blackout with the rings themselves blacked out (not yellowish) and I would think that could be so awesome on my space gray.

Sorry for rambling lol. Glad you got the v2's. I like the beaded look better. But I wonder how the v4's would look without the blackout. Probably very lci-ish

Even though I went with the blackout, I agree with you 100%.

No way. Blackout looks so much better. Makes it much cleaner.

yea which is why I'm torn, the blackout is seriously awesome to look at IMO. But I plan on keeping my car a long time and feel that I would get tired of the aftermarket look. I don't want my car ever looking "overdone" I guess.

I love the sleeper aspect of the stock headlight with v2's. I know creaminz car is heavily modified (making the headlights more appealing) but I think this is what I would want to do.

If I did the blackout, this is what it would be.. but I have yet to find a pick of the ACM blackout with blackout v2's mounted on a car..

vs

sorry for threadjacking OP, interested in your thoughts and if you contemplated the blackout or not?

To be honest with you, I am over my blackout. It does look good, but after about 2 months of having it, it does look to be on the aftermarket side. Having the blackout also shows the small imperfections on the lens more easily.

That said, since you have an E93 I wouldn't black out your headlights. I feel like I kind of had to blackout, because the pre-LCI E90 headlight is boring, and dousn't look as classy/OEM as the E92 headlights do.

Thanks for the honest feedback. Never thought about the imperfections showing up more easily, mine is pretty bad already. I have other things I want to do with mod money first (aero lip and mtech rear) so I'm going to sit and wait to see if other angel options come around at some point. And you're right the pre-lci e90's had it rough and need a lot of work to make the lights (front and rear) look good.

Looks very nice. I do like the light output of your AE Rings, but I like the tighter light spacing of my original stock AE Rings.

Looks nice!
I'm currently doing a blackout on my Euro headlights and doing a mix of V2 inner and V4 outer. We'll see how it turns out!
