OEM Bluetooth Installation E92

So I just recenty purchased my new 2007 328i Coupe from North Scottsdale BMW that I absolutely adore. I didn't get the premium package, nor did I have BMW Assist factory installed. After having my car a week I inquired as to what it would cost to have my car Bluetooth enabled. It appeared to me that all the hardware was already installed and that it would just be a software upgrade to the computer. Man, was I wrong! The service dude just called me with the estimate of what it would cost. $3000! He says I need everything. Ouch. No thanks.
