SHOCKED
On monday i took my 320 to BMW at parra for some noise coming from the front end on both sides when going over speed humps or leaving driveways.
After waiting the service guy told me ive got two bent front struts he suggested taking it to a suspension place to see if the can make it straight. THE REPORT,CARRIED OUT VISUAL INSPECTION AND FOUND FRONT SUSPENSION DAMAGE TO STRUTS? MORE CLEARANCE EVIDENT ON ONE SIDE COMPAIR TO OTHER SIDE.not under warranty. I find it hard to understand because i dont use my 320i as a 4wd Price from parts $711 each I found Bilstein B4 for 2 for $350 at my door from states ANYONE ELSE WITH THIS PROBLEM |

I would definitely try to get a second opinion.
From my experiences, I have never seen bent struts on E90, not even on E46 unless it's been in an accident. Not saying yours are definitely straight, but a second opinion wouldn't hurt. Although all dealership should be the same standard, but mechanics are still human, even BMW qualified ones. And they made mistakes. And dealerships are just like franchises, you get good ones and bad ones, even in a good dealership, you can good mechanics and bad mechanis, i think more of the second type. |

Try out Peter Mabey car care. A member from here recently had a great experience from them with a diagnosis to a problem that the dealer knew nothing about. They are BMW specialists.
