Taylormade / callaway...both good, depending on the model
check the reviews from other buyers before buying a new club...and demo it if your local golf shop allows

now the TM R7 superquad.....great reviews, my friend demo one and fell in love
I know 3 people that uses this club...however, I personally dislike all these MWT (moving weigh) stuff

I personally LOVE the MWT. I currently have a R7 425 9.5 degree but currently my launch angle is around a 15 instead of 12-13. To compensate for that I moved the weight of the club to change the degree of the club, it inturn made the club around a 8.5-9 which still gives me the added distance (265-275) and Im 5ft 6. The great thing about this club is if once I get the launch angle more in range, I can still hit a lower degree club and my distance will go ^. The MWT is great too if you have a slight fade or draw that you want to compensate one way or the other. They used to include the extra weights and tool but now you have to buy it, but either way its a great investment club. I used to use a 540xd and the metals in my club and shaft are far more advanced then that and this SQ R7 is even newer, plus has a higher CC, 460 i believe instead of 425!

Dawm...so jealous that you live in Florida and can golf all year round. we only get to play 3-4 months per year

Talking about Taylormade...did you know they're made in China
I confirm this with a Taylormade customer rep, but they told me that they're assembled in Carlsbad, CA...... on my new club, it clearly states assembled in China (got it at Golfsmith.com which is an authorize dealer) . Why are they lying…if its made in China then tell me is made in China, not like I care.

Look at the pics

I usually pick up clubs on ebay from reputable sellers at a good price. I got a Burner 9.5 degree but it launches too high.... so I'm back to my R7 460 8.5 degree. I'm thinking of getting a Superquad in 8.5, but I'm not sure how much of an improvement it is above the R7 460 (aside from four weights instead of just two).

I got a 10.5 and it too launches real high most of the times.....but it did fix my slice. I have hit about 100 balls at the range and play 1 round of 18 holes, all those balls didn't slice

What shaft is in it? Maybe try a stiffer shaft to control your ball flight problem? That or get some lessons to fix your launch angle

Yeah I've paid for a lot of lessons. Last one for $1300 at GolfTec.

Unfortunately most all the lessons are on Irons. I was doing well with my 8.5 degree drivers so I didn't bother with lessons for that.

The Burner driver was on a stiff shaft. I wish they made them in 8.5 degree... I have to get the TP version to get 8.5, and I don't like the smaller less forgiving TP head.

I got the 10.5, do you think the 9.5 will make any difference if I exchange the club? or that 1 degree will not be noticeable

If its launching too high with the given S shaft try a lower loft... every head hits differently sometimes you can get a hot head.
