GP Thunder 7500k Fogs!?
I recently got these with the intention of replacing my stock h8 fog lights with them but i havent found any pictures on the forums of how they look in the fogs, only saw them used as angels. Im also ordered lux h8 bulbs for my angels. If anyone uses these as there fogs can can you post pictures? Thanks in advance. I plan on installing this weekend but i wanna see what its gonna look like.

i dont have pictures or anything but i'm sure it will give your fogs a nice whiteish blue color. As for brightness though i wouldn't say it will be that bright considering how they are hard to see in the AE.

Just did a quick google search, hope these are the right pictures as I'm at work and can't really see them.
I think in this one the GPs are on the right. |

I just installed some GP thunders 7500k in my fogs. In my opinion they are not as white as the xeons or the angels (lux 5.1) but its a pretty close match. No one but me would really notice. I can take some pics in a few mins for you.
******Update with Pics********** 3 different exposures so you can get an idea what they would look like. Last edited by rubdom; 01-20-2011 at 11:18 PM.. |

Like the above poster, gp 7500 used for fogs have a mostly white with slight blue tint. The fogs won't match perfectly with the AE/xenons but are close enough. I rarely use the fogs so didn't try other brands to get a better match to the xenons.
Sorry no pics....... My current setup: AE- LUX H8 xenon- 6000K Fogs- gp thunder 7500k

From what I've read the Mtech 4350k super whites match the lux h8 the best
gaifun - seems like I run into you every thread I goto haha, I might go for the 7500k fogs as well since they are so cheap and if I don't like them and decide to go HID I won't be at a loss.

haha no kidding Dr. G im on these forums too much.
you might as well shoot for the HID's because they're really cheap these days, if you have an extra set of 7500k's lying around, then sure why not try it out, but don't waste your $20 to buy 7500k's and you would most likely upgrade again to HIDs in the future.

If i were you, just spend a little bit more and upgrade to HID, you can still get 7500k rating bulbs and your fogs would be 3x brighter. Installation is ridiculously easy.
