My Other Car

so after buying the 335i in November last year i let my wife drive the SRT8...

weeeelllll, since the gas prices are sky rocketing, i let her drive the bimmer for the last couple of months.

i got the SRT8 back with the front fascia looking as if it had been hiding out in bin Laden's compound......

fog light was cracked and the paint was flaking off the bumper. looked terrible and i was kind of emberrased about it.

new bumper, new Grip Grille and new fog lights......

fun facts:

car runs 13.4 @ 105 in stock form at 4400lbs

i have yet to take it to the track but before i do, it's going for a nice mid range cam.

on the way back from Dallas i hit 159mph (i've showed the video from my phone to a few locals )

car has 22x10" Torque Thrusts on stock suspension with stock Brembos.

Nice car, I love the SRT's. My buddy has one with a dealer installed supercharger with full warranty on it. I'm not sure how much boost he running, but for such a tank it hauls ass.

he's probably running 4 or 5 psi on stock internals.

if he's making closer to 6 or 7psi he better be forged.....

Nice. Love the "Bullitt"/torque thrust wheels on the car.

This car reminds me of Billy Joel. He and Christie Brinkley have a daughter. She looks like Billy. There's no escaping genes.

this car is Charles Manson in an Armani tuxedo.....

it's my low 13 second couch....

no one expects this car to bark the 22" wheels going into 2nd gear at 52mph and then watch as it freight trains to a top speed of 122mph in 3rd gear...

the interior, comfortable seats and all out brute force are unmatched - with the exception of the CTS-V.

Those wheels look so good on American cars. I saw them on a black DTS the other day

getting wheels for a 300C is definitely walking a thin line.

stock rims look great, BUT, if you plan on getting rims you BETTER be careful what you do.

one minute you can go from having a nice classy and agressive SRT8 to having a donked out, chromed out shitbox that looks like it needs autozone vents on the side.

it took me a while to find the right rim that would maintain the muscle car aspect of this beast.

TT2's have been around for a long time are very popular amongst the Mustang and F-Body guys.

rim was a perfect fit for this car - all i need now is some coilovers.
