Does anyone know how to add a wallpaper in in the nav screen
someting like this but for BMW

It's a lot to translate - but it's an Internet radio player that looks like iDrive. I believe there is an illustration. I don't think you need to know German to use it, or you can always look up a few words.

before I purchased this car I was looking at the Acura TL /TSX navigation. Some of the forum members were able to edit the startup/look of the navi in the same fashion... by editing the things that are on the navi DVD.

If I could get my hands on an extra DVD and possibly some documentation about the contents I would be able to write a small application to edit the contents and burn a new DVD.

Nemis, that software is excellent. However, BMW drivers with Mark III or MarkIV satnav systems can upload their own software. That is not the case for cars with CCC unfortunately.

The question isn't really how to reprogram it, but how to get access to the system. BMW has a proprietary interface that uploads tools. That is the problem in my opinion.
