Question about accident.
Hey guys/gals:
I just got into a 2-3 mph fender bender by rear ending a dumbass that cut in front of me then hit her brakes. So quick question, I have a 2010 328i and her bumper was rubberized and lined up just above the center of my front bumper. I pushed in on the front fascia area and it feels flexible like it was made for slow direct hits, could this be so? The black plastic grille in center is secure but I can pull on the top part and middle of plastic fascia/bumper moves with it. Is this normal, to flex together? Lastly could this have caused any damage i cant see? Airbags did not go off and abs worked great just about 2 inches shy off not hitting the minivan. PS no cops were called, so i got lucky there. Thanks guys

Man thanks you guys i feel better now. I mean in winter time it might of cracked. But since it was warm it flexed i think. Im lucky abs kicked in or would of been airbags deployed.

It might have broken some of the tabs that hold the grille pieces in, but if you can pull on it and nothing comes out you're good to go!

Thanks, i just pulled on both kidney grilles and there a little loose but i think thats normal. They dont pull out or move around to much. I also pulled on the cheap black honeycomb looking grille under front plate location, and it is tight. The black plastic grille in center is secure but I can push/pull on the top part and the middle of plastic fascia/bumper moves in & out with it.
Is this normal, to flex together?

Can someone please verify on the 2010/11 328i models if the above is normal flex/play?
