Good deal on 325i demo?
Hello,
(Cross posted on Bimmerfest) I dropped by one of the dealers today, and test drove the 325i. Really enjoyed the car. Handling is similar to my 328Ci. The 325i has LESS low end torque though, but then my car has a 3.15 final drive. The car I drove had IDrive. It's not as bad as many people stated, but the UI is not great either. BMW should really outsource it's software UI team to Apple. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to turn on the radio! Any ways, I was offered a demo (different car from the one I drove), driven by one of the sales staff. It's a manual with sport and premium packages. It's been on the road for about 3 to 4 months, with about 7,100 KM (4,400 miles) on it. The offer is $3,000 to $3,500 CDN off list. ($2,586 to $3,018 USD) What do you think? Thanks. Ed |

the MSRP for a 325 w/ sport/prem/nav lists for about 50,000CDN, 3,500CDN off is not a great deal imho, that's only 7% off of MSRP FOR A DEMO, if you can bargain it to about 10-12%, I would say yes

I got $2,000 off a brand new 325i (sport + sunroof) - you should be able to get much more than $3,500 off a demo with 7,000kms on it.

Do NOT believe it was only driven by a salesman. And do not assume the salesman would drive it with respect!!!! You're almost definitely buying a car that was not broken in or driven with any concern for the future. |

Wheeler - The onlly liar is YOU.
Not all Client Advisors lie. I'm calling you out on that one. You know NOTHING of the business. On the other hand - You would not believe how much lying a BMW Client Advisor hears in just one day.
