Both the CTSBM005 and CTRBM001 are about $40 GBP or 58 USD (each)

I'm getting the new Kenwood DNX9140 which should be out in early May (same as my new E92).

I've already made a bezel for the double-din. I'll post pics soon.
I'm relocating the climate controls to where the ashtray is (like on johnnymu's car). Cars built after 3/30/09 don't even come with an ashtray so I'm not losing anything.

Installing the radio is pretty easy cause there's so much room.

You don't have to. The wires are long enough and will reach.

ummm...i should have read the whole post before asking that question. Looks like a potential future purchase. Incredible job on the custom piece.

Is there anyway of feeding a VGA input into that Kenwood screen? You know what i'm talking about since I believe you used to visit mp3car.com

Still do. You could get a double-din carputer. I'm going to make a bezel for a carputer LCD as well.

Waitting for your carputer LCD. I plan to use lilliput 8" wide touch screen, it seems the size just fit into that area.

As for the climate control, how about just put a litte deeper under the lip of ashtray, thus no need to cut the panel.
