New Cayenne hybrid - actually very desirable....
Very interesting.....the new one even looks OK, unlike it pig ugly forerunners.
Look at the stats. CayenneS Hybrid 380hp 580Nm 6.5secs 150mph 34.4mpg 193 CO2 (3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol 333hp & electric motor 47hp) The only thing wrong is the price tag - £57k http://www.pistonheads.com/news/defa...?storyId=22057 This one is even brown - |

I've read about this in latest issue of the Porsche mag, they're quite excited about it in Stuttgart.
more stats: 1) All electric drive operates up to approx. 37 mph 2) Regenerative braking: electric motor becomes a generator and charges the battery. 3) Sailing - vigorous coasting mode where the petrol engine shuts down while the car is running at speeds up to 97 mph. Brown again! |

I love it.. on a clear motorway run it would probably be able to coast a fair bit!
Fantastic tech, in a small car, like a Cayman, that would be amazing for a smaller car. |
