You need to cut off the stock, then the Eisenmann can be clamped.

When installing the Eisenmann Section you will need to cut off the OEM system and clamp/weld on the new Eisenmann system.

I think that eisenmann suggests that you weld on the mufflers, but a lot of guys on here just clamp them without any problems.

I'm thinking my exhaust is louder than others because it is clamped. My exhaust is considerably louder than Longtran's. We have the same exhaust on the same car.

His is welded though.

I'll get it looked at tomorrow.

When purchasing the full system Section I&II and rear muffler no cutting is required its 100% bolt-on.

When I got my Eisenmann, I for sure had it welded on. Any muffler shop can do it, its not rocket science.

Also every Eisenmann system comes with clamps for easy install.

Does the section I & II of the eisenmann exhaust increase hp as much as the Riss Racing downpipes?

sections 1 and 2 aren't downpipes this is not a turbo back system....you need to buy dp's for that....here is what they say on the eisenhaus website:

E92 335i/xi: Section (1+2) Complete SR Pipe Option:

Removes secondary cat-converter + x-pipe eliminates middle resonator box.
These pipes, combined with the muffler, comprise a full
cat-back exhaust system for the 335i/xi.
