Do I have to roll the fenders when using 20" rims with a 2" drop?

I have a 2006 e90 and i will be installing 20 x 8.5 Front and 20 x 9.5 rear with a 2" drop. Will there be any rubbing? Do i need to roll the fenders? Any advice out there?

Wheels width - Front is 20 x 8.5 ;Rear is 20 x 9.5
Tire width - Front 245/30 ; Rear 285/25
Tire brand is Nitto - Invo
Offset is Front ET35 Rear ET42.
Is this the correct reading to tell you the offset, i am looking at the back of the rim now.

no

I dont think you will rub with this. I run 20 x 10 with a 37 offset in the rear dropped on KW v2's and barely rub. Only on bumps. I can post picture of the rear drop if you want to see them to compare.

damn 285 tires in the rear on a 325 is a bit to wide for me I stuck with 265 since it was my daily driver, although the wider the tire is it usually means more cushion. I wonder what long is running 275 or 285?

That will fit perfectly and it will NOT rub on the inside or the outside. You will be fine with those tires also. What wheels did you go with? post some pics.

Sick wheels! Should not rub though, rear fenders are huge on E90.

You WILL NOT have to roll your fenders what so ever. A 20x9.5 with a 42 offset is a very conservative offset for a sedan. But very few of us are able to get away with a 285 tire (most of us are using a 275). However in your case, you will probably be able to pull it off because Nitto, like the Toyo T1-R's and the Falken FK-452's, the Invo should have a smaller sidewall that would allow you use that big of a rear tire. Worse case scenario would be that it rubs on the inner wheel well side near the suspension like Koreez88 mentioned, and all you will have to do is add a 5mm spacer and the problem should be solved. Let us know what the end results are!
