I just sold my loaded 2008 335i coupe with just under 52k miles with a year left of CPO for just over $25,000..I paid $26,000 for it just over a year ago. Just depends if someone really wants every option it has...

Did the F30 get released in July or August 2012? If so, that would be your event.

Otherwise, you didn't miss anything. Time passed and the value dropped as a result. That's it.

You can use this website as good source. Prices are usually a little higher on here though FYI.
