Nitto Motivo Tires for e90 w/ sports package staggered 17"s
Going into winter and looking at an all season tire to last me through spring. Anyone try Nitto's latest UHP AS tire, the Motivo? I have seen mixed reviews and the price point is right along with the Conti DSW. My stock Conti ProContacts rears started to wear out just after their 22.5k mile warrantee on the rears (halved on rears due to stagger) leaving me with good fronts I can't match as they discontinued that line. Like all warranties on staggered sets, the Nitto warrantee is halved on rears but the tire carries a 60k mile warrantee so I will get 30k miles of wear on the rears.
I know this isn't a high performance mod post, just looking for thoughts. I will do a wright-up if I get them for comparison and satisfaction.

I've got them on my e90 staggered 18s since May. The 60K warranty is only applicable if the tires are all the same size, otherwise the warranty drops to30K. They've been driven through rain and no issues. These tires have stiffer sidewalks than DSW and DW, but I put about 38-40psi in them. I've already put 6K on the tires and the tread is about at 90-95% with my aggressive driving. I have sports package and usually the alignment wears out my rear tire quick. After getting a new alignment with less camber settings, I wouldn't be surprised to see these tires to last at least 30K.

Thanks, after mulling it over, I woke to rain this morning and decided my worn tires had to go, so I picked up a set of the Nitto's. A bonus for me that for Black Friday, America's Tire is offering a $50- discount on any set of 4 and after looking at the Conti DWS's in the shop, the Nitto's look like they have more continuous surface contact. I will have to play with the pressures for a bit to find my preference, but I am finally RFT free!

I just had Nitto Motivo 's installed, 17" staggered on my xi, and man, what a difference from the stock Conti RFT. These tires ride so much smoother and are extremely quite, the difference unbelievable!

As typical, about 40% faster wear on rears but on track with the warranty mileage advertised. After 15k~ miles, they have been a great pick through the winter and now I will see how they last into summer.
