Springs settle???

Has anyone ever measured or verified this. I just lowered my e90 xi and the springs are I specific. Advertised to lower 1.6f 1.4r. I'm at about 1.25f and .75r. Tell you the truth I don't want it to go any lower. I've put about 500 miles since I lowered. Noticed about an 1/8 of inch the first few days but nothing since. Has anyone really noticed a change in ride height after a long period of time?

I have never noticed a significant difference when springs settle.
