any updates? What was the issue with mounting location of the downpipe? Something about stress from the catback?

One flange angle was a tiny bit off, car just got here about 2 hours ago. Going to take it apart shortly.

Im so annoyed i wish i never got an n55...the only tuner company that got right on this car right away and at least did something is terry at bms....ihe came up with a tune quicker then a down pipe....take off the old one and duplicate it...lets go ladiessss.

First off where do you come off with this BS? If you havent read other threads on here you will notice AR design has been VERY busy with their single turbo setup. You are not the only person he has to drop everything and go running to.

Second of all the shop car DID hit a racoon near JFK airport, ripped the bumper apart and smashed the foglight. If it was YOUR car with 2000 miles on it, you would get it fixed right away. The bodyshop is not obligated to work on his car first. Parts gotta be ordered and such.

If you wanted a downpipe so bad why didnt you ship your car over there like AR Design had asked me to? I couldnt give up the car because my customer doesnt have a second car to get around in.

big question.....will it fit the xi e90??? i think im going to buy r and s straus style flex pipe and sheetrock them together to make a custom down pipe :0)

I believe it should be the same as the E92 XI...regular I models have the 02 sensor in the middle of the cat whereas the XIs have them in one of the pipes right before the exhaust.

Car apart, playing with fitment right now.......... Should be really easy. Hope to have it wrapped by tomorrow, and ready for order this weekend. These cars are MUCH easier to take apart......
