I've never done it, but why not go to your dealer and get a new one? What's wrong with the one you have or had?

If you're burning to a DVD, the file is most likely in .ISO format. Find a user-friendly DVD burner software and it should do it all for you. I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to put the actual ISO file on the DVD, but the files that are in the ISO itself. I think an ISO file is like a ZIP or RAR archive, so you have to extract the contents before burning them to a DVD.

EDIT: I think a single-layer DVD will be fine. If you're downloading the first link which is 4.37gb, then you only need a single-layer which has a capacity of 4.39gb.

You'll also have problems downloading the first link. There are no seeders uploading to you, so either your download will take years or eternity.

you have to use limewire or some other torrent downloader to download the torrent, hoping it isn't a virus. once that is done, you have to have like toast or some other burning software, there isn't anything that comes on the mac to do this... and burn it.

i'd post this in off topic

you can use Disk Utility on your Mac to burn the ISO.

You need a torrent downloader, such a uTorrent.

Then you need a separate program to burn a .iso to a DVD.

use utorrent to download and nero to burn. If its an iso image you need daemon tools to open. I dont know if this would work on mac.

Not sure about what program to use on the Mac, but use a Verbatim DVD they are one of the best and will help with read times on the nav.

Single layer is fine and our navs seem to like -R better then the +.

Lastly burn it slowwwwwwwww if you burn to fast you get errors when you put it in the car. I burned it at 1x using the program imageburn.

Good luck!

PS: didnt see you didnt have the torrent program either, you need one of those to download and decript the file.

You need a windows computer - would solve all your problems.

You need to download a torrent program, limewire, vuze etc whatever you can find for the mac, then run the .torrent file which will start the torrent download, which is 4.5 GB, once you have that file (and iso) you can burn it as you would burn any iso - it should work with a single layer DVD-R, not sure about +R, make sure you get a good quality DVD and burn it slowly!
