Converting Non sport suspension to sport.

Hi,
I just wanted to know if that's possible. I have a non sport 2007 bmw 335i e92. Can you just buy a used set of sport shocks and sport springs and install them to a non sport. Would it be a hassle? Is it just a direct fit? I assume the ride height and feel would be the same as the sport or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your comments/ suggetions!

I'm not certain about the early model years, but as far as I'm aware, all U.S.-spec E92s (except xDrive) come with the sport suspension even if they don't have the sport/M-sport package.

This is not true. Check realoem, I just went from nonsport to BMW pert suspension and love it.

Op you should be able to pick up a used sport susp for a good price here.

At least with the 2011s - I thought all E92s and E93s had the sport suspension, regardless whether it was ordered with the sport packages. For the E90 that wasn't the case.
Reason I say that is, if you look at the sport package options for the E92, it does not mention the sport suspension. However on the E90 it did, as part of the package (well, did, considering the E90 is EOL).

Yeah the sport seats are a good sign. Best bet is to get the VIN and give it to a dealership, they can run it and get the build sheet. Then you will know for sure.

I also heard the 335i sport has a higher top speed limiter. I know I've hit 140 in my car. And shows no sign of weakening . Is this true the top speeed limiter allowing more mph than the non sport? Thanks guys

The sport package increases the speed limiter, yes, from 130MPH - 155MPH.
