I'm guessing the paddle mod will invalidate your warranty if it was discovered by a BMW Tech on a routine service or something?

I am guessing it would invalidate any warranty on the paddle system, but it isnt going to invalidate the entire warranty.

Garage List
Yeah; I wouldn't do anything to the car or it's systems to give the stealer any chance to deny any warranty work.

They don't deny the warranty, they have to show that what you did could have caused the warranty.

They can't not fix a fuel pump say, because you took the air bag out!

Managed to get the mod done over the weekend, took about 40 mins. Like everyone says, once the airbag is off its really simple. Now considering the BMW Performance steering wheel to go with it!!

Anyone else see the daft paddles getting a mention on Sundays episode of Top Gear during the X6 review

Have been using mine way more now that they work the way I expected and with zero issues.

The JB3 is also nicely settled in now and I can easily believe the 390hp claims - and thats on US gas, with decent super and map 5 ("race fuel map) I think it might be more? Pulls like a mofo in gear, although I didnt like the traction light flashing at 80+ on the M8 the other day
