Some people do, some people don't - it's up to you.
I took the 335i badge off my car because I really like how the E92 back end looks debadged. There are certain cars I think it makes a big difference on because it takes away the focal point of the badge, and the E92 is one of them. At the same time, in my area, the majority of the cars I see debadged are generally ghetto cars with oversized chrome rims, stick-on chrome, and cheap LEDs tacked on. Mostly Hondas and such, and when I do see it on a BMW, it's usually a ruined E46 or E36. Times like those make me feel a little ashamed to be debadged.

I have a black e92, I plan to plasti-dip my badges. That way, I still have them, but from far away it will appear debadged. So the best of both worlds so to speak. But I'm choosing plasti-dip for the ability to revert back to stock if I ever choose to sell the car or decide I don't like the look of the black badges.
Stolen from Google, here's a picture for reference:

I debadged mine it does look better I think but my boot lid had been painted before and they left the badge on and lacquered over it. So I will need to repaint it 😡
