Had to replace a door.

The tech holding the front end is lucky he didn't get hurt. They were all lucky no one was under the car when it dropped.

Insurance will pay for the owner to get a new BMW.

Maybe they'll upgrade the owner to an M3??

The sad part is that's not covered by CPO.

Seriously, whomever put the car on the lift MUST be fired. They were probably drunk or stoned. And I don't think that's the way to correct the situation--probably the lift should be lowered, and the vehicle towed out.

the owner of the car will get a new door, hood, etc and that's it. possibly an apology, but the dealer probably won't want to admit fault
