Heated Seat / Climate Control Panel

Afternoon,

I am thinking of replacing my existing climate control panel and separate heated seat switch panel with a the updated unit with has the heated seat switches built in.

will this work ok as a straight change?

help appreciated.

Yes, you can retrofit it! I had the ALL unit in mine...... usually plug n play, if the unit came from the same E9x! It not, it'll probably need coding

Depends on the issue - is the ALL not working or is it blowing out hot air when installed?

I tried doing the same by fitting the LCI control panel into my pre-LCI e92, but the aircon wouldn't work afterwards and neither did the blower selection in the idrive! Although the rest of the buttons worked fine, I think it needs reprogramming to work correctly

folks it works fine once it has been re-coded. I have the unit for sale still if anyone is interested. like new condition.

As far as i am aware you just havecto re code the climste control unit. Should work fine there after!
