New map - V2.0.2 - 1-10-07

I'm assuming he meant to say 1-10-2008 but just happened to go to the link in Shiv's signature and see that there is a new map....FYI

Anything noticeable with the new map? Do you still not recommend having different TQ levels across the rpm range?

Still same recommendations apply. There is no performance differences with this map over the the 12-29 map. Just changed some speed delimit parameters. That's all.

shiv, i've been wondering why you don't list these maps as like:

2.0.2.1....2.0.2.2... etc... instead of just the same 2.0.2 with a date.

I guess in the end it doesn't matter, people would either just look for the newest date... or the biggest version number. Anyways, I digress..

Shiv, is there any difference in performance between this map and the 12-19 map? I'm running off of 12-19 and was hoping that a newer V2.02 map would fix my 15.2psi boost at 90% problem.

Shiv- just curious why the speed limiter needed tweaking?

The clamp speed might not have been low enough for non-Sport guys with the 135mph speed limit. So i dropped it down to 120mph. That's all.

The new maps should make absolutely no difference. And looking at your datalogs, I wish I had your "problem" Just do what we talked about yesterday to make sure that dropping the User TQ numbers drops boost.

Shiv
I will drop the User TQ table to 70% this weekend to check it out but why is my "problem" something you wish you had? Didn't you state that raising User TQ does stuff other than just raising boost to increase power? I don't want to be down on power for the same amount of boost just because I can't set my User TQ as high. I also just wish my stuff was more inline with everybody else's so I didn't think something was wrong.

I know this doesn't help your situation, but I'm at 95% and seeing 12.5psi. I think that is what Shiv was referring to. You are boosting to a good number so its not as much of a problem as not hitting your boost targets.

Are you reading that boost number off the datalog or do you have a gauge installed? I'm asking because my car is behaving nearly identical to yours. I'm running about 96 octane and 90% is producing exactly 15psi or slightly above like you. My gauge is picking up the boost pressure from the DV line. I'm at 1,600ft elevation, with no mods other than PROcede V2.

So I assume updating to this map off of the 12-29 w/ speed limiter would have no affect whatsoever correct? No other changes right?
