Another tyre size question....

Hey guys

Looking at getting set of Yokohama Advan VS103s
235/35/R19 91Y (front)
255/30/R19 91Y (rears)

Will these fit ok on 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 rims??

Will moving from 225/35 (size on the front now) to 235/35 stuff up my current 12mm spacer set up (i'm guessing yes)??

Looking at keeping the same size on the rear so assume the 15mm spacer set up on the back will still be ok??

Should be fine with a 235 up front, why not go with 265 rear tyres? (no sense upsizing the fronts and not the rear if you have a set of RB's coming!!)

a 15" spacer wow that must be a world record!?!? haha

I went 265's on the rear with a 9.5 rim and slightly scrubs on large bumps, so check the offset of the rim! But you will need these with RB's, for SURE!

I like stance with the current set up, so ideally would like to keep the same look without having the shell out another $500 on new spacers
Guess if I go 10 mm wider on fronts and backs then it will be pretty close and I guess I could bin the spacers

Get at least 265's socks!

To run these and spacers your rear guards will need massaging (no coconut oil after a warm bath wont do, massaging with a guard roller!)

I'm having traction issues with my 'small' 265/30's and want to try some 275/30 19 semi slicks. With your car setup for E85 and RB's you'll be needing at least 265's in a sticky compound (I believe going from a 265/30 to a 275/30 is an increase of ~ 5mm in contact patch - not a huge increase but an increase nevertheless!)

Will running a LSD negate the need for stickier rubber? Want to avoid guard rolling etc if I can

anything above 255 should be 30 profile.

9.5 rim suited 255/265
can do 275
and can do 285 with right offset.

the amount of grip i gained from 255 to 285 is just amazing.

I have 275/30/19 going onto my 19x10 et38 rears this week; hopefully they'll fit. Up from 265/30.

I got a bloody puncture right in the shoulder which cant be plugged, so i'm replacing the pair with wider rubber.

Yokos only come in 265 or 285s/30 no 275s for me unless I change up to 20s

Agree but I have the fronts ready to fit and 265s are about $400-$450 each
Always ran PSS on my last car but they are pretty spensive

F1s are a super nice tyre, if I didn't have the yokos, they would be on the top of my list
