the profi SPA (carbon kevlar shell) is much better than the pole position because it has much deeper thigh bolsters. but the pole position is too bad either.... which ever seat you choose (even if its cobra, corbeau, etc), they will be much much better than the stock seats...

and you dont need full harnesses to enjoy the benefits of fixed back seats. harnesses will be better of course but you'll still get a lot less lateral movement with any race seat compared to the stock seats.
You cannot use those seats with a 3 point. It requires an un obstructed secure hip attachment with your 3 point that can only be had with a sport seat. The seat you show is for 5 and 6 point only!

edit: some clubs won't accept harnesses without rollbars, that is true!
The nice thing about the Schroth is that it's very easily detachable - so if you are with a club that doesn't allow one, it's easy to take it off - and if they do, then it's worlds better than the 3-point seatbelt.

you can shorten the stock seat belt receptacle so that the belt goes through the hip hole and sits against your waist properly... unless i am missing something else.

agree with this... as far as i know, viper is ok with it... but bmw QC is not... but being able to remove it easily makes it a great modification.

Viper Friday!

Should we try to get the parking spots close to the cafetaria / old washroom?

Back-up plan if that parking spot not available? park closer to the trailers (turn 15)?

Anyone of us has portable gas bbq, for small quick grill?

i say we park at the old washroom area as ken suggested. if thats taken, whoever's there first can save some spots for the rest of us... dont really care where... i agree, we should park together.

Get a small cooler and bring water bottles, some fruits and sandwiches.

However, you may come empty handed too, there will be water available (the club does provide some), outside the track not too far there's a store where you can buy sandwiches, drinks etc.

The idea is to stay well hydrated and energized the whole day. Fatigue and dehydration are the worst for concentration, and fatigue impacts everyone.

Usually I sart the day slow, pick pace up mid day, then slow down for the remaining end of day sessions. It's not pleasant to finish the day on a sour note....

Have the stoptech street/race pads for now. Gonna upgrade to full race pads eventually. Might go for Pagid as they make for my bbk application
