Not a fan of all the extra badges, new headlights, or the black mirrors. The badges on the fenders and dash trim look terrible.
Why can't they do a performance package with some class instead of it looking like some high school kid spent his Burger King paycheck on crappy appearance mods? The new bumpers are the only thing I think look good. Unless we could pick each "i s" difference to add seperatly I'd rather save the money and get the regular 335i and do my own mods. |

I love this LCI...and its making me want to delay my purchase. I have been hunting at a 2009/2010 e93, but this is supposed to coming around the corner! I actually really like the headlights and the tailights, and the M sport front end (which I was planning on purchasing from BMW anyways)
There is 16 pages that I don't want to pour through so here's the burning question: Is the 335is worth the extra $6000+ over the 335i, in monetary sense? ie. is it cheaper if I buy a 335i and just add the M sport aero kit? |

they weren't so harsh about badgingbefore,
but now 335is badges on on trunk, side fender, interior tach gauge and on passenger side trim? wtf? on the other note, 370lb instant torque... wow this just makes harder for me to choose between M3 and 335is... |

Ditto. I like the bodykit, etc., but I find this and the 335is on the passenger-side dash trim a little tacky...

The "335is" logo on the gauges is just as gaudy as the ///M logo--

a pointless model added to the 3 series lineup imo. either they use that new motor in all 335s or just leave it alone. the price (not msrp, real market price) between the 335is and M3 are so close. i just priced out a fully loaded 2009 m3 coupe fully loaded with DCT, premium and tech package for $60800. i doubt you can get a similar equipped 335is for significantly less than that. also you have to endure through all the comments about why buy a fake M3 orM3 wannabe from your friends . the E46 ZHP were different, they were only a couple grand more than the regular E46 330i.

go to carsdirect, type in zip code 91776 and see it for yourself. it's brand new '09 coupe with DCT, premium and tech packages. i guess it depends on the market, but BMW is heavily discounting the 3 series and m3s in my area until Feb 1st.

Certainly there are some great M3 deals out there, like the one you've found and as I mentioned in an earlier post. But, if you are determined, you will be able to get good deals on a 335is also. Probably not as good as you can, percentage wise, on an M3 from two model years ago, no. But if someone wants a current model car to begin with, they are not going to be considering a 2009 M3 anyway. I do agree it would have been nice for BMW to just bump the standard 335i to 330hp, but I think you'll have to wait for the F3x for that. |

^^^ yeah, my bad, forgot to mention carsdirect.com in my 1st post. as far as for 335i discounts, i was offered 4500 below invoice on an e90 2009 335i, just to give you a picture.
