LED questions
Hi, I have a question about interior LED lights that I hope you may be able to help me with. I recently replaced the stock interior lights (footwell, door, vanity mirror, map and dome) with LED's. Ever since switching these bulbs out I have had errors and problems with them. The main problem is that when I turn on a map light, I will push the button and the light will turn on and after about 10 seconds or so the light will go off. Then if I hit the button to turn it off and then push again to turn it back on, the footwell lights will turn on or something else. I am really hoping that you will have an answer for me on what to do, because I love to brightness and color of the LED's. Thanks for your help!!

Just got an interior set of led's last week. I had to adjust the wires to make sure all are making full contact. All of the lights seem to be working ok now. |

for HIDs you either need to code it out or use error cancelors, and since the voltage is usisally PWM you need capacitors to cancel out the voltage or run a relay from battery

item #2 (quantity of 4) will fit the doors. you check your doors just in case to make sure they match shape. as the post above, you may just have to realign metal contacts.

LED issues
I made sure all of the metal wires were making good contact. I checked them all several times and bent the wires so they are making constant contact. However they still turn off after 15 or so seconds of being on. So it is probably an issue with resistance like neilvosko says. I fully admit ignorance with electrical and lighting parts, so does anyone know of anything that I can try to solve this problem? I really appreciate the help from everyone. Thank you very much!

Yep, any HIDs no matter where.
you want the resistors and the capacitors? item 1 & 3? or item 1 & 4, you can diy put cap in parallel on each line (just make sure to pute the - of cap on negative terminal) |
