Anyone running dinan software and a catless DP?

Is there any reason not to do this? Can I clear any codes with a CAN tool or does that only work for cars w/ JB3/4?

Tried searching. Thanks for any help

You'll risk blowing your warranty I'd imagine. I have a full DINAN setup pretty much, but will not do DPs, because of all the unnecessary hassle it brings.

Yeah you can use the can tool. I have a dp and keep it on auto clear but I'm untuned. You might consider the warranty issue though.

True, I don't want to void the warranty. Hopefully the PE will improve the sound enough to keep me happy for a while. Thanks

The PE is pretty loud so...

A Dinan tune with cattless dp will not bring you as much because the Flash is not designed to function with this kind of dp... However there will be some small benefits...

I do not recommend it because gain and possible negatives are not in balance...

It'll net you some power and quicker spool but just isn't worth the potential hassle. Also there is no reason a street car should be catless.

The PE should keep you happy. A stock 335i is way to quiet, I could barely hear it with the top down going under an overpass. I love the sound of the PE, specially with the top down. Someday I'll get a Dinan tune, but for now I'm happy with the PPK. Its a daily driver and no plans track days, yet.
