Hey guys, been tinkering with the idea of chipping my 335i....any thoughts....are they worth it??

Just a heads up. This forum is bias tirades PROcede. Lots of people riding on Shivs nuts and people who bash it gets banned.

Jb3\4 isn't to bad installing\uninstalling for warranty visits but does get a tad annoying. All the piggy backs\flashes have there ups and downs. Before jumping into a "chip" do a little research because you could run into warranty issues.
I personally like Jb3 but Jb4 from what I read is more user friendly with the steering wheel controls, clearing codes and map switching on the fly. I don't really care for map switching since I only stay on map 7 with a jb3 and I am not the only person driving the car so all I need is someone(sister) thinking the car is possessed because the gas tank gauge keeps bouncing back and forth with the boost.

But after you do your research you'll see the differences. Get a Jb+ those things are alot of fun. Set it and forget it.

by all means jb4 hands down no questions asked is very easy to install, update, and it works with w/e mods u may have or may want to do as time goes on. i get them for the cheapest price in the tri-state hit me up
