I posted this somewhere around E90post during the last few months. Here it is again:

Interior Air Filter: Variable every 15,000 (if on all the time) to 30,000 miles Power Steering Fluid change every 30,000 miles All-wheel drive transfer case every 30,000 miles (TF0870 83 22 0 397 244 (1 Liter)) Spark plugs every 30-45K Fuel Filter: Variable every 30,000 to 60,000 miles (E90 is in the fuel tank, $200 part) ATF fluid flush refill and filter at 60,000 mile Water pump, thermostat at 60K Engine Drive Belts...Replace O.E. or O.E.M. BMW poly-ribbed serpentine belts every 60,000 miles. Replace O.E.M. Continental or Pirelli or original BMW V-belts every 30,000 miles. You're correct, but running a 275 rear starts to get a little tricky unless you get the offset of your wheels just about perfect. Otherwise you have to roll your fenders. That's why most folks go with a 265 rear, which works just fine with a 235 front, as it's still less than the 1% over difference (front to rear) BMW recommends.

Also not all tires are the same size, for instance Falkens tend to run quite a bit narrower than Michelins. Look, there are TONS of guys running 275's out back, hell even 285's. You just have to be smart about it and get your fitment right, ESPECIALLY if you're lowered. And fender rolling isn't a big deal. If it's done right you won't even know it's been done. I just wanted to make sure you were aware it was something else to consider if you're gonna run a 275 rear. |
