V3 PnP and new Progman 30.xxx

I was wondering if anyone has hand any first had experience with your doomsday maps and the newer Progmans, I had a some recent service last month and I know they reflashed my ECU. I am going back and forth on installing this V3, as I am not sure if there are new detection features in the newest progmans. I am MSD 80 (build date nov 06)

Thanks!

I have an msd81 May '08 build, but I run the non-doomsday maps since they seem to provide more power than the doomsday maps on my car. I was updated to progman 32 last week in an effort to fix my ipod problems. I didn't take the V3 completely out - just installed the dummy cable. The dealer didn't say a word to me about any mods. I've had a limp and a few other hiccups, so surely something would have been in the computer. I've bought 3 cars from them in the past 3 years so they may be trying not to piss me off and send me away in this economy.

Dont worry about it, i think V3 is probably one of the more conservative tunes. Just make sure to run doomsday map and to install/uninstall everything according to instruction. Make sure to run the most updated firmware and maps available

The Doomsday maps are among the more conservative as calculated fuel consumption goes (what triggers the manipulation code in 29.2+/MSD81 applications. That said, we still were able to make nearly 380whp on the dyno today on 91oct without triggered the manipulation code. And this is on an MSD81 ecu. The car was fully modded (intakes, catless exhaust and FMIC).

Would someone please explain to me why "alternative tune" users continue to read and (even worse) post in threads that are explicitly about PROcede questions? These posts serve absolutely no purpose other than to hiijack the thread and discourage legitimate answers to the OP's question. You've got plenty of posts about the tune you have plus a whole other website devoted to it - that ought to be enough to keep you busy...

Thanks for useful Data Shiv...I was debating on spending the money on the Dinan Flash, but will install the proceed tonight, I am pretty stoked for the extra power.

Will have my own personal write up as soon as I put some miles on this tune.
